Matchmaker, Matchmaker Make Me a Match
Many villages in Europe had a matchmaker to bring families together through marriage. While I wear many hats as Sherlock—detective, genealogist, fashion historian, ethnographer, geographer—the most important is as matchmaker for lost cousins. In my case, this means bringing families together through their photos.
Here’s how it works—The MatchmakerTM Gallery
MatchmakerTM is an exclusive free service for my clients. Since I already know your family trees and the dates of your photos from working on them, I offer you, as my client, the choice to have one of your mystery photos posted in the MatchMaker Gallery. Everyone who comes to my site will be able to view your photo, but only you can have your photo and relevant information posted here.
If someone recognizes your photo and believes it’s also part of their family history, they can email me and I’ll match the two families. Then you can both take it from there. Your personal contact information will be kept private until I find a potential match. This is just the beginning. If you’re looking for a family match and don’t see it here yet, please return as new photos will be posted as they become available.
